Carley Robinson, Zumba Instructor
My junior year of high school I started taking Zumba classes at Crossties Yoga and fell in love with it! I have been doing Zumba ever since and have a passion for health and fitness! I recently got my certification in May of 2018 and have loved the journey of being an instructor! Zumba is a great way to get a sweaty workout ,while having fun all at the same time! I encourage everyone to come burn some calories with me and have a joyful time dancing! All levels are welcome and there will be a variety of dance styles incorporated! Can’t wait to see you bring a friend and let’s Zumba!
Jenni Young, Zumba Teacher
After trying the regular workout regimen with running, sit-ups and lots of circuits, I found out there's a better way to get fit that's a lot more FUN! That's when I found Zumba about three years ago. I recently got my certification to teach Zumba this past March, and already am so passionate about helping people get healthy and stay there! Zumba is a high energy, party like atmosphere where burning calories is as easy as shaking it to some of your favorite tunes! All levels welcome. Bring water, a towel, and a great attitude. Can't wait to Zumba with YOU!

I began my yoga practice 4 years ago during Spiritual Formation training with my church. I continued taking yoga classes at Live Well Fit.
I literally found my breath in yoga. It has been a great stress reliever as well as improving my strength, stamina and posture.
I am so grateful for the opportunity to obtain my 200 hour teaching certification from Yahweh Yoga at Crossties Yoga. I am so excited to help others begin or continue their yoga practice.
Jo Jackson, CYT
My love of yoga began when I read "Yoga for Americans" by Indra Devi. This was followed by marriage, teaching 4th grade, raising a family, graduate study, teaching 6th grade language arts, and sometimes practicing yoga.
After retirement in 2000, I decided to become serious about studying the practice of yoga. Nancy Magaret, my mentor and friend, encouraged me to follow my heart. From 2006 to 2013, while teaching at YOGA NOW, a small studio in Canyon, I studied with Tias and Surya Little (Prajna Yoga, Santa Fe, NM) and Gary Kraftsow (Viniyoga founder). My large collection of books about teaching yoga help me continue to study, and my certified yoga hours equal 285. I am thankful for the opportunity to be included on the teaching staff at CrossTies Yoga, and plan to practice yoga the rest of my life!

"I found yoga in 2005 and, after the very first class, I knew that this was something I would do for the rest of my life. Through Hatha-based yoga, I was able to undo the damage I sustained during years of childhood gymnastics. Yoga has been a tremendous God-send in my life and I love sharing my love of yoga with my students."

Annabeth Baker, Zumba Teacher
I attended my first Zumba class about 10 years ago and fell in love! The upbeat music, fun atmosphere and easy dance moves changed exercise for me forever. It made the hour-long workout go so much faster and I NEVER wanted to miss a class!
Then in 2013 I suffered a heart attack and was devastated when one doctor at Mayo told me I likely wouldn’t be able to Zumba again. Challenge accepted! It was a long comeback but I did finally make it back to Zumba classes with Jenni. Then in August 2018 I decided to go ahead and attend Zumba certification in Dallas. Now I can lead others in this fun class that has helped me improve my health and fitness. All ages and levels of experience are welcome – anyone CAN do Zumba. Come join us!
